Specialist one-to-one advocacy for adults with learning disabilities and or autism. Must be accessing or awaiting assessment for Bridgend County Borough Council social services.
This is to support people to have an equal voice and make decisions around issues including:
• Assessment, Care and Support Planning, Reviews
• Safeguarding
• Accessing Information, Advice and Assistance
• Accommodation issues (inc. Care Homes)
• Concern / dissatisfaction / complaint
• Change of service type / Preparing to leave hospital and return to the community

• Befriending • Counselling • Mediation • Advice • Impartial • Dependency • Legal support
IMPORTANT: Our staff work part-time. We do not have standard opening days / hours — this is led by the needs of our work and what staff can do within their weekly working hours.
